Guide for K-12 Educators
Teachers! Share the 2021 National Math Festival with your students. Sign up for live, free events for all ages from PreK through elementary, middle, and High School. Check out the schedule (opens new window) and plan to stay for an hour or two; drop in on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, April 16-18.
Accessibility: Many events are available in Spanish; ASL interpreters are available to accompany attendees to Sessions and Booths on a first-come, first-served basis. Stage events use live captions and a list of video recordings will be released with official captions in the week(s) following the events.
Moderation & Safety: The NMF Live Online Weekend is a youth-centered environment. Students ages 13 and under should be accompanied by an adult when participating in events. The event does not have open chat; only moderated Q&A at live events. For Friday events, there is no use of video/audio by audience members. For Saturday and Sunday events, audience members are invited to join certain events using video and/or audio to communicate with presenters, but it is not required. The National Math Festival does not tolerate harassment of participants or presenters; see our Welcoming Statement for details.

How to Participate & Share with Your School

Hopin allows one person to access the site per email address, so provided below are a few different ways to share and join in the fun:

- Teachers: Register yourself through Eventbrite, then use your school's usual video meeting software (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to screen share the Hopin event with your students on the day of the event.
