Dr. James Gardner considers personal and instructional technologies essential tools that help educators solve problems. His scholarship focuses on the use of technology in educational settings, and technology applications for students with disabilities and learners at-risk for school failure. A professor of special education in the educational psychology department at the University of Oklahoma, he has held leadership positions in state and national educational technology organizations. His hobbies include gadgets, scuba diving, and keeping alive the mathematical excitement of his father Martin Gardner’s legacy.
